I’m currently watching Funny Face with Audrey Hepburn, in which she plays a character that is said to have a ‘weird’, ‘funny face’! It’s funny to see someone who is considered so beautiful playing a character that is considered somewhat plain. That is, until someone notices her and says she has an ‘interesting’ face, which then helps the other characters see her beauty.

IMHO, ‘interesting’ faces are fascinating and I’ve noticed that having the kind of unique beauty she had seemed to be more valued back then, more so than it is now. Why do we have to have to look like everyone else to be considered beautiful?
